Great Bay Trout Unlimited,  More than just guys in rubber pants

 

      Trout Unlimited, a non-profit organization, is America’s leading cold-water fisheries conservation group.  The local Great Bay Chapter was founded in 1991 and boasts a membership of over 250 people.  Each year we hold a Banquet/Auction that represents the chapter’s main fund raising event.  The proceeds provide the resources to support programs like:  

·        Fall stocking of the Lamprey    

      and Cocheco Rivers

·        Casting for Recovery

·        Fly fishing instruction for kids

·        Fly tying instruction

·        Guest presentations

·        Fly fishing trips

 

            ·                                        … and much more.

 

  

The 2007 Banquet/ Auction was held on Friday, March 2nd at Cottage-By-The-Bay at 97 Piscataqua Rd, Dover, NH. The banquet featured live and silent auctions, bucket raffles, door prizes, and great food and drink.
